Tutorial "Forbidden Pleasures"

This tutorial was written by me on 8th March 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: PTU Scrapkit "My Forbidden Pleasures" by Designs By Ali which you can purchase at Just4Taggers, a lovely tube, I am using the artwork of Jamie Kidd which you can purchase at CILM, WSL_Mask84.jpg by Chelle and my template #25

Supplies here

1. Open template and mask in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close the original, delete layer Credit, highlight background layer, select all, add new raster layer, open DBA PAPER 27.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none

2. Layers - New Masklayer - From Image, load WSL_Mask84.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, resize Width 100%/Height 90% (aspect ratio and resize all layers not checked), cut, paste as new layer, delete the "empty" group layer now

3. Open DBA CHOCOLATE HEARTS 2.png, rotate 90 degrees left, resize 650px (aspect ratio and resize all layers checked), copy and paste as new layer, move it down, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, layer is arranged above the masklayer

4. Highlight ScallopedRectangle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 19.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 0/0/50/3 #000000

5. Highlight Rectangle1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 28.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

6. Highlight Rectangle2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open DBA PAPER 14.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 18) and flood fill selection, select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

7. Highlight Rectangle3, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, copy DBA PAPER 28.jpg, paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

8. Highlight Frame, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with pattern DBA PAPER 14.jpg (Angle 0/Scale 18), select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

9. Open DBA CLUSTER FRAME 1.png, image mirror, resize 650px, copy and paste as new layer, move it up, with the freehand selection tool draw a selection as you can see on my preview, press delete, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000 to both but don't merge10. Open DBA FLOWER 2.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move up to the right, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000

11. Open DBA CURLY BOW WITH RIBBON 1.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, with the freehand selection tool draw a selection around the "empty" parts of the ribbon, open DBA PAPER 27.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, arrange - move down, highlight DBA CURLY BOW WITH RIBBON 1.png, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, merge down (with the small paper layer), move it down to the left

12. Open DBA CHOCOLATE CHIP 1.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, place it on the DBA CURLY BOW WITH RIBBON 1.png that looks like a box now, add Dropshadow, duplicate layer and place it next to the other Chocolate Chip

13. Open DBA CHOCOLATE SWEET 1.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, move it down and place it next to the box, arrange below the box layer, open DBA CHOCOLATE SWEET 10.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, add Dropshadow, move it down as you can see on my image, layer is arrange between the sweet and the box

14. Open DBA CHOCOLATE SWEET 9.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, move it down, arrange the layer below the other sweets

15. Open DBA WORD ART 4.png and DBA WORD ART 5.png, resize both 15%, copy DBA WORD ART 4.png, free rotate 90 degrees left, move it to the left, copy DBA WORD ART 5.png, free rotate 90 degrees right, move it to the right

Open your tube, resize if needed, copy and paste as new layer, place as you wish, write your name and/or text, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg
