Tutorial "Sweet Violet"

This tutorial was written by me on 7th August 2009. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Butterfly, Fly Away - Violet" PTU tagger size kit by Tinas Magical Scrap World which you can purchase here, an adorable tube - I used one by Zindy Nielsen which you can purchase here, GG_mask19 and GG_Template179 - both by Gina

Supplies here

1. Open mask and template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close the original, delete credit info layer

2. As we have to change the template a little please highlight heart 2, Effects - Image Effects - Offset, Highlight heart fill 2, offset with the same setting, highlight heart 1, offset with 0/190, highlight heart fill 1, offset with 0/190
Image - Canvas Size - 650x650px - Placement Center

3. Highlight background layer, add new layer, flood fill with #9b60b0, Layers - New Masklayer - From Image, Load GG_Mask19 (Source luminance checked) - Merge group, Image - Resize 110% (Resize all layers not checked)

4. Highlight rounded rectangle 1, merge down (with rounded rectangle 2), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open TMW_BFAV_Paper13.jpg, resize 500x500px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 0/0/20/5 #000000

5. Highlight circle 2, merge down (with circle 1), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, new rasterlayer, flood fill with #9b60b0, Effects - Texture - Texturizer Sandstone 50/1, select none, add Dropshadow

6. Highlight split ocal, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open TMW_BFAV_Paper14.jpg, resize 500x500px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, Dropshadow 2/2/20/5 #000000, repeat with -2/-2

7. Highlight middle rectangle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, new rasterlayer, flood fill with #9b60b0, Effects - Texture - Texturizer Sandstone 50/1, select none, add Dropshadow 0/0/20/5 #000000

8. Highlight heart fill 2, merge down (with heart fill 1), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open TMW_BFAV_Paper21.jpg, resize 600x600px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none

9. Highlight heart 2, merge down (with heart 1), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open TMW_BFAV_Paper22.jpg, resize 600x600px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, add Dropshadow

10. Highlight flowers, merge down (with middle flower), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, new rasterlayer, flood fill with #f6f6db (twice), select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/20/1 #000000

11. Highlight layer with the split ocal, open TMW_BFAV_Frame21.png, copy and paste as new layer, resize Width 95%/Height 85% (aspect ratio and resize all layers not checked), add Dropshadow 2/2/20/2 #000000

12. Open TMW_BFAV_PicotBow1.png, image mirror, image flip, resize 65% (aspect ration checked again), copy and paste as new layer, move it to the left and a little up to the corner of the rounded rectangle, Dropshadow

13. Open TMW_BFAV_PaperFlower2.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, place it on the know of the PicotBow, add Dropshadow

14. Highlight top layer, open TMW_BFAV_FlowerBow2.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow

15. Open TMW_BFAV_BeautifulButterfly2.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 25 degrees right, move down to the left, add Dropshadow

16. Open TMW_BFAV_Umbrella2.png, resize 60%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 20 degrees right, move down to the right, add Dropshadow

17. Open TMW_BFAV_GlitterButterfly1.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 25 degrees left, move it to the right and place it on top of the umbrella, add Dropshadow

Now open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize and image mirror if needed, place it as you wish, arrange layer as you wish and add Dropshadow of your choice! Add copyright information and write down your name and/or text!
