Tutorial "Sweet Love"

This tutorial was written by me on 20th February 2011. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Sweet Love" PTU Scrapkit by Rieka Rafita which you can purchase at Twilight Scraps, a cute tube, I am using the adorable artwork of PinUp Toons which you can purchase at CDO Store and mask 0mask046_LT.jpg which you can download here (if this mask is yours please let me know and I will give you credit)

1. Open mask in PSP, open a new transparent canvas 700x550px, open RR_LoveGrow.png, copy and paste as new layer, Effects, Image Effects, Offset -20/0 Custom and Transparent checked, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000

2. Open RR_Frame4.png, resize 500px (resize all layers not checked), selection, custom selection Left 0/Top 225/Right 300/Bottom 451, selection invert, press delete, duplicate layer, image flip, Effects, Image Effects, Offset 0/-100 Custom and Transparent checked, merge down, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, copy and paste as new layer onto your tag, Effects, Image Effects, Offset 30/-75 Custom and Transparent checked, add Dropshadow, arrange layer, move down

3. With magic wand tool click into the frame, selection, modify, expand 10px, open RR_Paper18.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, arrange layer, move down, selection invert, press delete, don't deselect, open RR_Sparkle1.png, copy and paste as new layer, press delete, select none

4. Open RR_Paper16.jpg, resize 350px, layers, new masklayer, from image, load 0mask046_LT.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, copy and paste as new layer onto your tag, move it down to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, move it back down and a little more to the right, merge down, arrange layer, send to bottom

5. Open RR_GlitterSplash.png, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, image, resize Width 100%/Height 80% (aspect ratio and resize all layers not checked), move it down to the right, add Dropshadow (layer is above group layer)

6. Highlight top layer, open RR_CupidBear1.png, resize 25% (aspect ratio checked again), copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, add Dropshadow, open RR_Butterfly.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, duplicate layer, rotate one butterfly 30 degrees right, sharpen, move it up to the left corner of the frame or just move it up and leave it in the middle of the frame, add Dropshadow, rotate the other butterfly 30 degrees left, sharpen, move it to the right and a little down, add Dropshadow

7. Open RR_Flower3.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down and place it somewhere on the string, add Dropshadow, open RR_LoveHanging.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, draw a rectangular selection around the letters and strings, selection invert, press delete, select noneMove these letters up to the left, arrange this layer under the frame layer, add Dropshadow, duplicate layer and move it to the right

8. Highlight top layer again, open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow

You can write down your name and/or text now, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg! Have fun, hope you like my tut ♥

Tutorial "Special Gift"

This tutorial was written by me on 18th January 2011. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Special Gift" PTU Scrapkit by Addictive Pleasures which you can purchase at Dreams-N-Digital, an adorable tube, I am using the fantastic artwork of Rion Vernon (PinUp Toons) which you can purchase at CDOeStore (I purchased it from CILM)

1. Open a new transparent canvas 600x600px, open glitter.png, copy and paste as new layer, move it a little bit down, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, open wireheart.png, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow -1/1/25/3 #000000

2. Open notepaper.png, copy and paste as new layer, move it a very little up, duplicate layer, image mirror, arrange layer, move down, add Dropshadow to both notepapers, open sequins.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right corner of the notepaper, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, duplicate layer, image flip, move the duplicated layer a little bit up and a very little bit to the left, merge visible, add Dropshadow

3. Open ribbon4.png, resize 65%, copy and paste as new layer, image effects, offset 140/25, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, image effects, offset -20/25, back to the original ribbon layer, duplicate layer, free rotate 90 degrees left, image effects, offset 5/50, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, image effects, offset -5/50, merge all four ribbons, free rotate 5 degrees left, sharpen, add Dropshadow and move it a little up and a little to the left4. Highlight top layer, open fluffyheart.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, sharpen, move it down to the left corner of our selfmade ribbon frame, add Dropshadow, open heart.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, sharpen, move it down to the left corner, place it next to the fluffyheart, add Dropshadow

5. Open flower2.png, resize 65%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, duplicate layer, move it up to the left corner of the frame, open leaves.png, resize 65%, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the right and a little up, add Dropshadow, with freehand selection tool remove these parts of the leaves (stems) that are above the frame

6. Open text.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up, add Dropshadow, open your tube now, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place her as you wish, add Dropshadow -1/1/25/7 #000000

Tutorial "Love My Paperboat"

You need: "Rain Drops" Scrapkit by PolkaDotScraps, which you can purchase at Twilight Scraps, a cute tube, I am using the adorable artwork of PinUpToons, which you can purchase at CILM and WSL_Mask141.jpg by Chelle

1. Open mask in PSP, open a new transparent canvas 650x650px, flood fill with white, add new layer, select all, open PDS_RD- paper9.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none, layers - new masklayer - from image, load WSL_Mask141.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, resize 110% (resize all layers not checked)

2. Open PDS_RD- element18.png, resize 575px, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000, open PDS_RD- frame7.png, resize 500px, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, with magic wand tool click outside the frame, selection invert, selection, modify, contract 4px, open PDS_RD- paper7.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, arrange beneath frame

3. Open PDS_RD- element49.png, custom selection - Top 0/Left 0/Bottom 150/Right 191, press delete, select none, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 90 degrees left, image flip, move it down and a very little to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000, arrange this layer above the wire

4. Open PDS_RD- element19.png, resize 300px (Height), copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow, arrange layer above the ribbons

5. Highlight top layer, open PDS_RD- element44.png, resize 350px, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, free rotate 35 degrees left, move it up to the left, place it on the wooden frame, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow

6. Open PDS_RD- element47.png, resize 150px, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, add Dropshadow, open PDS_RD- element46.png, resize 150px, copy and paste as new layer, move it down and a little to the right, arrange, move down, add Dropshadow, highlight top layer, open PDS_RD- element5.png, resize 250px, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move down to the left, place it next to the flower, add Dropshadow

7. Open PDS_RD- element26.png, resize 150px, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow, open PDS_RD- element36.png, resize 250px (Height), with freehand selection tool remove the stem of the windmill, copy and paste as new layer, place it on the left side of the frame, add Dropshadow

8. Highlight the upper leaves layer, open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, image mirror if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000

Tutorial "Sweet Chocaholic"

You need: PTU Tagger Size Kit "Dip Me In Chocolate" by Creative Intentionz which you can purchase at Just4Taggers, an adorable tube, I am using the beautiful artwork of PinUp Toons which you can purchase on CILM, template #159 by DesignsByAli

1. Open template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close the original, delete top layer (Credit) and layer Raster 3, add new rasterlayer, arrange, send to bottom, flood fill with white, image - resize 700x519px (resize all layers and aspect ratio checked)

2. Highlight layer Raster1, merge down (with Raster4), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open CIZ-DMIC-Paper1.jpg, resize 700px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000

3. Highlight background layer, custom selection Left 18/Up 57/Right 688/Down 455, open CIZ-DMIC-Paper2.jpg, resize 700px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none

4. Highlight Copy of Raster 6, merge down (with Raster 6), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open CIZ-DMIC-Paper12.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000

5. Open CIZ-DMIC-MusicalNote1.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down and place it on the second small circle, duplicate layer, merge down, duplicate layer, move it onto the fourth small circle, merge down, duplicate layer, image mirror, move it up onto the circles, merge down (all four notes are merged now), add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000

6. Open CIZ-DMIC-MusicalNote2.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, duplicate layer, merge down, duplicate 3 times now (so you have 4 MusicalNotes2 at all) and place them on the empty circles, merge all 4, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000

7. Highlight Raster 2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open CIZ-DMIC-Paper4.jpg, resize 500px, copy and paste as new layer, move it into the selection, selection invert, press delete, select none, highlight Raster 5, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open CIZ-DMIC-Paper11.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000

8. Highlight top layer, open CIZ-DMIC-VineFlower2.png, resize 60%, copy and paste as new layer, image flip, free rotate 15 degrees right, sharpen, move it to the right and a little up, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000, arrange this layer above the large dark brown rectangle

9. Highlight top layer again, open CIZ-DMIC-ChocSwirl1.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, image flip, move it down into the lower right corner of the frame, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, place it into the upper left corner of the frame, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000
10. Open CIZ-DMIC-Bear1.png. resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down and a little to the right, place it next to the frame, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000

11. Open CIZ-DMIC-WordArt3.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the left, open CIZ-DMIC-WordArt4.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the right, so that the wordart is Sweet Chocaholic now, merge down, move it up and place it above the frame, adjust - Brightness/Contrast - 100/15, add Dropshadow 1/1/50/3 #000000

12. Open CIZ-DMIC-GiftBox2.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, place it into the lower left corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, open CIZ-DMIC-ChocolateBlocks.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down and place it next to the box, add Dropshadow, open CIZ-DMIC-ChocolateStack.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, place it next to the ChocolateBlocks, arrange layer under the ChocolateBlocks, add Dropshadow

13. Highlight top layer again, open CIZ-DMIC-LadyBug2.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 25 degrees right, adjust - sharpen, place it somewhere on the VineFlower, duplicate layer, image mirror, move it back, place it somewhere else on the VineFlower, add Dropshadow to both LadyBugs

14. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow 0/0/35/8 #000000
