Tutorial "Angel of the Night"

This tutorial was written by me on 19th April 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: PTU Scrapkit "True Blue" by Designs By Ali which you can purchase at Just4Taggers, an adorable tube, I am using a free tube by Zindy Nielsen which you can download here, Becky_Mask022.jpg and CU Stamp Frame by DeliciousScraps

1. Open a new transparent canvas 700x530px, flood fill with white, select all, add new rasterlayer, open DBA PAPER 7.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none, layers, new masklayer, from image, load Becky_Mask022.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, image resize - Width 100/Height 70 (aspect ratio and resize all not checked), cut, paste as new layer (delete empty layer), highlight group layer, selection, custom selection, Left 0/Top 0/Right 700/Bottom 265, press delete, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds - Width 3/Opacity 20, Horizontal and Light from left/top checked

2. Open Frame.png (DeliciousScraps), resize 21% (aspect ratio checked), copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, add Dropshadow 2/2/30/2 #000000, with magic wand tool click into the frame, selection, modify, expand 10px, copy DBA PAPER 7.jpg again, paste as new layer, arrange - move down, selection invert, press delete, don't deselect, open DBA FALLING STARS MESS 1.png, resize 45%, rotate 90 degrees left, copy and paste as new layer, move it up, fit into selection, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow3. Highlight top layer, open DBA STAR CLOUD 1.png, resize 300px, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, image flip, move down and a little to the left, add Dropshadow, open DBA MOON 2.png, resize 200px, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move it up to the left, open tube, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow 2/2/30/8 #000000

4. Open DBA BUTTERFLY 1.png, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move down to the left, add Dropshadow 2/2/30/2 #000000, open DBA BUTTERFLY 2.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, free rotate 10 degrees right, sharpen, move it up, add Dropshadow

5. Open DBA BOW 1.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow

Write your name into the white area of the frame, add Dropshadow, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg! Hope you enjoyed!

Tutorial "Forbidden Pleasures"

You need: PTU Scrapkit "My Forbidden Pleasures" by Designs By Ali which you can purchase at Just4Taggers, a lovely tube, I am using the artwork of Jamie Kidd which you can purchase at CILM, WSL_Mask84.jpg by Chelle and my template #25

Supplies here

1. Open template and mask in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close the original, delete layer Credit, highlight background layer, select all, add new raster layer, open DBA PAPER 27.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none

2. Layers - New Masklayer - From Image, load WSL_Mask84.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, resize Width 100%/Height 90% (aspect ratio and resize all layers not checked), cut, paste as new layer, delete the "empty" group layer now

3. Open DBA CHOCOLATE HEARTS 2.png, rotate 90 degrees left, resize 650px (aspect ratio and resize all layers checked), copy and paste as new layer, move it down, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, layer is arranged above the masklayer

4. Highlight ScallopedRectangle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 19.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 0/0/50/3 #000000

5. Highlight Rectangle1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 28.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

6. Highlight Rectangle2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open DBA PAPER 14.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 18) and flood fill selection, select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

7. Highlight Rectangle3, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, copy DBA PAPER 28.jpg, paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

8. Highlight Frame, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with pattern DBA PAPER 14.jpg (Angle 0/Scale 18), select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, repeat with -2/-2/25/3 #000000

9. Open DBA CLUSTER FRAME 1.png, image mirror, resize 650px, copy and paste as new layer, move it up, with the freehand selection tool draw a selection as you can see on my preview, press delete, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000 to both but don't merge10. Open DBA FLOWER 2.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move up to the right, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000

11. Open DBA CURLY BOW WITH RIBBON 1.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, with the freehand selection tool draw a selection around the "empty" parts of the ribbon, open DBA PAPER 27.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, arrange - move down, highlight DBA CURLY BOW WITH RIBBON 1.png, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/3 #000000, merge down (with the small paper layer), move it down to the left

12. Open DBA CHOCOLATE CHIP 1.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, place it on the DBA CURLY BOW WITH RIBBON 1.png that looks like a box now, add Dropshadow, duplicate layer and place it next to the other Chocolate Chip

13. Open DBA CHOCOLATE SWEET 1.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, move it down and place it next to the box, arrange below the box layer, open DBA CHOCOLATE SWEET 10.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, add Dropshadow, move it down as you can see on my image, layer is arrange between the sweet and the box

14. Open DBA CHOCOLATE SWEET 9.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, move it down, arrange the layer below the other sweets

15. Open DBA WORD ART 4.png and DBA WORD ART 5.png, resize both 15%, copy DBA WORD ART 4.png, free rotate 90 degrees left, move it to the left, copy DBA WORD ART 5.png, free rotate 90 degrees right, move it to the right

Open your tube, resize if needed, copy and paste as new layer, place as you wish, write your name and/or text, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg

You need: PTU tagger size kit "Toujours Et Pour Jamais" by Designs by Ali, which you can purchase on Twilight Scraps or directly from her blog, mask Vix_Mask441 by Vix and template #23 by Tinas Magical World which you can download here

1. Open template and mask in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close the original, highlight top layer of the template, open DBA PAPER 40.jpg, resize 350Pixel, layers - new masklayer - from image, load Vix_Mask441, source luminance checked, merge group, copy and paste as new layer, move down to the left (Position x 33/Position y 200), duplicate layer, image flip, merge down, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, arrange this layer above the background layer

2. Highlight SmallHearts, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 13.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 2/2/35/2 #000000

3. Highlight HeartFrame, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, copy same paper, paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow

4. Highlight BlackRoundedRectangle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 42.jpg, resize 600px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow

5. Highlight GreyRoundedRectangle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 41.jpg, resize 650px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none

6. Highlight RoundedFrame, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 42.jpg again, resize 650px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow

7. Highlight Heart, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBA PAPER 40.jpg, resize 600px, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none

8. Open DBA VALENTINE ELEMENT 2.png, resize 600px, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the edge of the rounded rectangle, add Dropshadow, arrange - send to top

9. Open DBA TREBBLE DECORATED BOW FLOWERS 1.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, move up to the right, add Dropshadow

10. Open DBA DATE TAG BOW 1.png, resize 35%, free rotate 25 degrees left, adjust - sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left, add Dropshadow

11. Now open DBA VALETINE COOKIE 1.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow and place as you wish! Of course you can also use a tube of your choice or another one of these cute cookies

Please add copyright information, either for Lisa (SophisticatedScraps) who did the cookies or for the artist whose tube you are using! You can add text and/or your name if you want! Save your tag as .png or .jpg! Please enjoy my tutorial and this adorable kit!
