Tutorial "Love My Paperboat"

This tutorial was written by me on 13th May 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Rain Drops" Scrapkit by PolkaDotScraps, which you can purchase at Twilight Scraps, a cute tube, I am using the adorable artwork of PinUpToons, which you can purchase at CILM and WSL_Mask141.jpg by Chelle

1. Open mask in PSP, open a new transparent canvas 650x650px, flood fill with white, add new layer, select all, open PDS_RD- paper9.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none, layers - new masklayer - from image, load WSL_Mask141.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, resize 110% (resize all layers not checked)

2. Open PDS_RD- element18.png, resize 575px, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000, open PDS_RD- frame7.png, resize 500px, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, with magic wand tool click outside the frame, selection invert, selection, modify, contract 4px, open PDS_RD- paper7.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, arrange beneath frame

3. Open PDS_RD- element49.png, custom selection - Top 0/Left 0/Bottom 150/Right 191, press delete, select none, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 90 degrees left, image flip, move it down and a very little to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000, arrange this layer above the wire

4. Open PDS_RD- element19.png, resize 300px (Height), copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow, arrange layer above the ribbons

5. Highlight top layer, open PDS_RD- element44.png, resize 350px, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, free rotate 35 degrees left, move it up to the left, place it on the wooden frame, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow

6. Open PDS_RD- element47.png, resize 150px, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, add Dropshadow, open PDS_RD- element46.png, resize 150px, copy and paste as new layer, move it down and a little to the right, arrange, move down, add Dropshadow, highlight top layer, open PDS_RD- element5.png, resize 250px, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move down to the left, place it next to the flower, add Dropshadow

7. Open PDS_RD- element26.png, resize 150px, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow, open PDS_RD- element36.png, resize 250px (Height), with freehand selection tool remove the stem of the windmill, copy and paste as new layer, place it on the left side of the frame, add Dropshadow

8. Highlight the upper leaves layer, open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, image mirror if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000
