Tutorial "Winter Angel"

This tutorial was written by me on 18th November 2009. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: PTU tagger size kit "Blue Christmas" by Created by Jill, which you can purchase on Just4Taggers, an adorable tube, I am using the beautiful artwork of Zindy Nielsen, which you can purchase/download here because it is a free tube and mask Vix_Mask427.jpg by Vix

1. Open the mask in PSP, open a new transparent canvas 650x650Pixel, flood fill with white, add new raster layer, select all, open BC_paper03_cbj.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none, layers - new masklayer - from image, load Vix_Mask427.jpg - source luminance checked - merge group, add Dropshadow 2/2/45/2 #60677b

2. Open BC_frame6_cbj.png, resize 600x500px, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000, with the magic wand tool click into the frame, selection, modify, expand 10px, open BC_paper07_cbj.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, don't deselect, layers - arrange - move down, open BC_icicles1_cbj.png, copy and paste as new layer, move up to the upper edge of the selection, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000

3. Highlight top layer, open BC_christmasbling_cbj.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down (Position X 60/Position Y 347), duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, adjust - sharpness - sharpen, draw a selection as you can see on my preview, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000, layers - arrange - move down until it is above the group layer
4. Highlight top layer, open BC_christmasstring_cbj.png, resize 65%, adjust - sharpness - sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, move it to the left, draw a rectangular selection as you can see on my preview, selection invert, press delete, select none
5. Open BC_flower3_cbj.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, image flip, free rotate 25 degrees left, move it up onto the left corner of the frame, add Dropshadow

6. Open BC_candycane_cbj.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 75 degrees left, adjust - sharpen, move it down onto the lower left corner of the frame, add Dropshadow

7. Open BC_ribbon2_cbj.png, image mirror, image flip, resize 65%, adjust - sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, open BC_polarbear_cbj.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right corner of the frame, add Dropshadow

8. Open BC_stocking1_cbj.png, image mirror, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the right and a little up, add Dropshadow, open BC_ornament4_cbj.png, resize 25%, adjust - sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow, open BC_christmasball_cbj.png, resize 25%, adjust - sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, place it as you can see on my tag, add Dropshadow, open BC_bow2_cbj.png, resize 20%, adjust - sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, duplicate bow and move both bows up to the right, place them as they would fix the balls, add Dropshadow

9. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/10 #000000

You can add your name and/or text now, add copyright information and save your tag as .jpg or .png
