Tutorial "In Pain"

This tutorial was written by me on 5th February 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: PTU tagger size kit "Lonesome" by PolkaDotScraps, which you can purchase on Twilight Scraps, a lovely tube, I am using the beautiful artwork of Zindy Nielsen, which you can purchase at Zindy Zone

1. Open a new canvas 650x650px, flood fill with white, open PDS_L- element45.png, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow 1/1/40/4 #000000, open PDS_L- element30.png, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, add Dropshadow

2. Open PDS_L- element12.png, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move it up and a little to the right, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, arrange - move down, arrange it above the background layer, duplicate layer, set the opacity of the duplicated one to 50

3. Open PDS_L- element14.png, resize 70%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, arrange this layer below the notepaper, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow1/1/40/2 #000000

4. Highlight top layer, open PDS_L- frame4.png, resize 70%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 5 degrees left, add Dropshadow 1/1/40/4 #000000, with the magic wand tool click into the frame, selection, modify, expand 10px, open PDS_L- paper3.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, leave inverted selection intact, arrange paper under the frame layer and stay on the paper layer, open your tube, free rotate 45 degrees right, copy and paste as new layer, fit into the frame as you wish, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/40/4 #000000 to tube layer

5. Highlight frame layer, open PDS_L- element33.png, resize 73%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 5 degrees left, place it on the right side of the frame, add Dropshadow 1/1/40/2 #000000

6. Open PDS_L- element1.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 18 degrees right, adjust - sharpen, move it down into the right corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, open PDS_L- element26.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, place it on the left side of the envelope, add Dropshadow

7. Open PDS_L- element10.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 90 degrees left, move it down, place it between the two elements there, open PDS_L- element22.png, resize 70%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, add Dropshadow 1/1/40/2 #000000

8. Open PDS_L- element39.png and PDS_L- element40.png, resize both 35%, copy and paste as new layers, move them up into the left upper corner of the frame, add Dropshadow to both

9. Open PDS_L- element31.png, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the left and a little down, add Dropshadow, arrange this layer above the notepaper

10. Open top layer again and write down your name and/or text! Please add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg! Hope you enjoyed the tutorial!
