This tutorial was written by me on 30th March 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!
You need: PTU Tagger Kit "Singing in the 80s" by Designs by Stina which you can purchase at Just4Taggers, a tube, I am using the adorable artwork of Jamie Kidd which you can purchase at CILM, template #64 by Saras Scraps and Mask19 by Rachel and Mask89 by Designs by Vaybs
1. Open masks and template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close the original, delete top layer (copyright), add new rasterlayer, arrange, send to bottom, flood fill with white, add new rasterlayer again, flood fill with #ec3d76, layers - new masklayer - from image, load SOE_Mask19_ByRachel09.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, resize 95% (resize all layers not checked), duplicate layer, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/1 #000000
2. Highlight background layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #ec3d76, layers -new masklayer - from image, load DBV_Mask_89.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, image mirror, move it up to the left, selection, custom selection Left 0/Top 0/Right 325/Bottom 280, selection invert, press delete, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, duplicate layer, image flip, merge down, set the opacity to 65, you can close both masks now
3. Highlight Raster 2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open DBS_Paper07.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 50), flood fill selection with the pattern, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000
4. Highlight circle 1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #ec3d76, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight circle 3, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with black, select none, add Dropshadow
5. Highlight circle 4, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #ec3d76, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with black, selection, modify, contract 4px, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow to black frame, highlight circle 4 layer again, open DBS_Lips01.png, resize 10%, image mirror, adjust - Hue/Saturation 0/0, adjust - Brightness/Contrast -75/0, copy and paste as new layer, Effects - MuRa's Meister - Copies - Tiling - Tile Gap 2, highlight circle 4 layer again, with magic wand tool click outside, highlight lips layer, press delete, select none
6. Highlight rectangle 1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #ec3d76, select none, add Dropshadow
7. Highlight frame 2, merge down (with frame 1)select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with black, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight frame background 2, merge down (with frame background 1), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open DBS_Paper07.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, move it a little up and a little to the left, selection, invert, press delete, select none
8. Highlight rectangle 2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with black, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight wordart, merge down (with hearts), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #ec3d76, select none
9. Open DBS_DiscoBall01.png, resize 150px, adjust - Hue/Saturation 0/0, adjust - Brightness/Contrast -75/0, copy and paste as new layer, move up to the left, add Dropshadow, open DBS_GlitterButterfly04.png, resize 10%, copy and paste as new layer, duplicate layer, rotate one butterfly 10 degrees right and move it up to the left, adjust - sharpen, add Dropshadow, rotate the other one 10 degrees left, move it up to the right, adjust - sharpen, add Dropshadow
10. Open DBS_Guitar01.png, resize 55%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, sharpen, move it to the right and a little down, add Dropshadow, open DBS_Bow12.png, resize 18%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, sharpen, move it to the right and place it on upper part of the guitar, add Dropshadow
11. Open DBS_PlatformBoots.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right, add Dropshadow, the boots layer is above the guitar layer, highlight guitar and draw a selection as you can see on my preview, promote to layer, on original guitar layer press delete, select none, arrange the promoted layer above the boots layer12. Open DBS_Bag01.png, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down and place it on the left side of the guitar, add Dropshadow
Now open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed and place as you wish! Add Dropshadow of your choice, write down your name and/or text and don't forget to add copyright information! Save you tag as .jpg or .png! I really hope you enjoyed my tut!
