Tutorial "Cherry Delicious"

This tutorial was written by me on 27th June 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Delicious" Scrapkit by PolkaDotScraps, which you can purchase at Twilight Scraps, an adorable tube, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac, you need to purchase his tubes but as the happenings at AMI he isn't selling at the moment, tag template #343 by Divine Intentionz and WSL_Mask364.jpg by Chelle

1. Open mask and template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close the original, delete layers cr info, wordart, frame and frame background, image - canvas size - Height 620/Width 597 Placement Center, highlight background layer, make it visible, flood fill with white, add new rasterlayer, select all, open PDS_D- paper1.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none, layers, new masklayer, from image, load WSL_Mask364.jpg, source lumincance checked, merge group, selection, custom selection - Left 0/Top 299/Right 620/Bottom 597, selection invert, delete, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, move duplicated layer one step down, merge down

2. Open PDS_D- element36.png, remove the three pearls on top, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000

3. Highlight glittered circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open PDS_D- paper15.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, adjust - add noise - Uniform and Monochrome checked, Noise 35, add Dropshadow

4. Highlight large circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open PDS_D- paper1.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow, open PDS_D- element36.png again, resize 30%, adjust - Hue/Saturation - Colorize 121/141, copy and paste as new layer, effects - Mura's Meister CopiesAdd Dropshadow, highlight pink circle layer, with magic wand tool click outside, highlight bead layer, press delete, select none

5. Highlight small circle1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open PDS_D- paper6.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 30), flood fill selection, select none, add Dropshadow -1/-1/30/3 #000000, highlight small circle2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open PDS_D- paper4.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 30), flood fill selection, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000

6. Open PDS_D- frame1.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left, place it on the turquoise circle, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge both circle frame layers, add Dropshadow

7. Highlight rectangle2, merge down (with rectangle1), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open PDS_D- paper7.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000, repeat with -1/-1/30/3 #000000

8. Open PDS_D- frame2.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, with magic wand tool click into it, selection, modify, expand 5px, open PDS_D- paper3.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, arrange layer beneath frame layer, highlight frame, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000

9. Highlight top layer, open PDS_D- element10.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the right and a little down, add Dropshadow, open PDS_D- element2.png, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer, place it on the right side of the table, add Dropshadow, open PDS_D- element16.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, place it on the table, open PDS_D- element15.png, resize 15%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 55 degrees left, move it down, place it onto the plate, add Dropshadow

10. Open PDS_D- element9.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, open PDS_D- element32.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move up to the right, add Dropshadow, open PDS_D- element33.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move up to the right, add Dropshadow

11. Open PDS_D- element26.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, open PDS_D- element34.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left, place it onto the cherries, add Dropshadow

12. Open PDS_D- element21.png, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left, place it on the bow, add Dropshadow, duplicate layer, move it down to the table

13. Open PDS_D- element13.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, adjust - Hue/Saturation - Colorize 240/150, place it as you wish

14. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow
