Tutorial "Emo Witch"

This tutorial was written by me on 4th October 2011. It was done with PSP X2 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Emo Witch" PTU Scrapkit by Addictive Pleasures which you can purchase at Dreams-N-Digital, a Halloween tube plus close up, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac which you can purchase at XeracX Store and my Emo Witch template which you can download here

1. Open template, with Shift D make a copy, close the original, delete layer credit, open sparkles3.png, copy and paste as new layer, effects, image effects, offset 0/-200 Custom and Wrap checked, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, arrange layer, send to bottom, add Dropshadow 1/1/20/4 #000000, open starswirl.png, copy and paste as new layer, effects, image effects, offset 0/10, add Dropshadow

2. Highlight Rectangle3, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #000000 (black), select none, adjust, add noise 50, Uniform and Monochrome checked, add Dropshadow

3. Highlight DottedCircleRight, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #fc5bc4, select none, add Dropshadow, repeat these steps on DottedCircleLeft and DottedCircle

4. Highlight WhiteCircleRight, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #47b1b8, select none, adjust, add noise 50, Uniform and Monochrome checked, add Dropshadow, repeat these steps on WhiteCircleLeft and WhiteCircle

5. Highlight CircleRight, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open p5.png, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, highlight CircleLeft, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, copy p5.png again, paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none

6. Highlight Rectangle2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open p4.png, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight Rectangle1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open p12.png, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight EmoWitch, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #47b1b8, select none, adjust, add noise as before, add Dropshadow

7. Highlight Circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #fc5bc4, open your close up, copy and paste as new layer, move it a little to the left and a little up, selection invert, press delete, paste close up as new layer again, move it a little down and arrange this layer below the first tube, press delete, select none, now duplicate the first pasted tube layer, image mirror, arrange, move down, now merge these 3 tube layers, set blend mode to Luminance (L), duplicate layer, adjust, blur, gaussian blur 10, set blend mode to screen, highlight circle layer again, select all, selection float, selection defloat, selection invert, highlight both tube layers and press delete on both

8. Highlight EmoWitchPixels, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #47b1b8, select none, add Dropshadow

9. Highlight top layer, open web.png, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, open bats.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow, open ghost2.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up and a little to the left, add Dropshadow, open spiderheart.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the right and a little up, add Dropshadow

10. Open house.png, resize 55%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, add Dropshadow, open cauldron.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, right side of the house, add Dropshadow, open frog.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move it down to the left, add Dropshadow

11. Open headstone.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right, add Dropshadow, open spider.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, image, free rotate 90 degrees left, move it down to the right, add Dropshadow

12. Open your tube now, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow

You can write down your name and/or text now, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg! Hope you like my tut, please enjoy ♥
