Tutorial "Mystery"

This tutorial was written by me on 11th July 2011. It was done with PSP X2 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Misty" PTU Scrapkit by Addictive Pleasures which you can purchase at Dreams-N-Digital and a tube plus close-up, I am using the wonderful artwork of Anna Liwanag which you can purchase at PSP Tubes Emporium

1. Open a new transparent canvas 700x650px, open frame2.png, resize 500px, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow 2/2/25/6 #000000, selection, custom selection Left 175/Top 140/ Right 525/Bottom 510, open p12.png, copy and paste as new layer, arrange layer, move down, selection invert, press delete, select none

2. Selection, custom selection, Left 175/Top 140/Right 350/Bottom 510, open your tube close-up, copy and paste as new layer, fit it into selection as you like, selection invert, press delete, selection invert, edit selection, image mirror, edit selection, copy your close-up again, copy and paste as new layer, fit it into selection as you like, selection invert, press delete, select none, merge close-up layers, set the opacity to Luminance (L), Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds Width 3/Opacity 15, Horizontal and Light from Left/Top checked, Color Black

3. Highlight top layer, open glitter.png, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, arrange layer, send to bottom, add Dropshadow, highlight top layer again, open sparklebutterflys.png, copy and paste as new layer, selection, custom selection Left 0/Top 325/Right 700/Bottom 650, press delete, select none, move sparklebutterflys up and a very little to the right, duplicate layer, move it a little down and more to the right, duplicate layer, image mirror, move this one a little up, merge all sparklebutterflys and add Dropshadow, arrange this layer above the glitter layer

4. Highlight top layer again, open heart4.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it only a little up, add Dropshadow, open flower.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up, place it onto the upper (frame)flower, add Dropshadow, open flower2.png, resize 60%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up onto the other flower, add Dropshadow, merge down, duplicate layer (both flowers merged) and move it down onto the (frame)flower, open dove.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right side of the frame, add Dropshadow

5. Open your tube now, copy and paste as new layer, place as you wish, adjust, Colorize, Hue 0/Saturation 0, add Dropshadow

Now you can write down your name and/or text, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg! Hope you like my tut, please enjoy ♥

Tutorial "Sweet Rac"

This tutorial was written by me on 29th April 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Addicted to Rac" Scrapkit by Creative Intentionz which you can purchase at Just4Taggers, an adorable tube, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac which you can purchase at ArtisticMindsInc and mask 0mask046_LT.jpg

1. Open mask in PSP, open a new transparent canvas 700x550px, flood fill with white, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper20.jpg and CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper17.jpg, resize both to 400x400px, both - layers, new masklayer, from image, load 0mask046_LT.jpg, source lumincance checked, merge group, take the yellow one, image mirror, image flip, copy and paste as new layer onto your image, move up to the left (Position x 10/Position y 10), duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down

2. Take the pink mask image, image mirror, image flip, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left, same position than the yellow one (10/10), image mirror, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, you can close mask and the small image now

3. Open a new transparent canvas 650x460px, with shape tool draw an elipse over the whole image (foreground colour off), convert to raster layer, copy and paste as new layer, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper19.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000, repeat with -1/-1/30/3 #000000

4. Open a new transparent canvas again 555x400px, select all, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper17.jpg, paste into selection, select none, custom selection Top 15/Left 0/Bottom 23/Right 555, press delete, selection, edit selection, image flip, selection, edit selection, press delete, select none, copy image, paste as new layer onto your tag image, select all, selection float, selection defloat, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper19.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, selection invert, selection, modify, contract 1px, press delete, select none, highlight pink rectangle layer, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000

5. Open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper20.jpg, set background to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 100), foreground off, take your shape tool, square, draw a small square 15x15px, move it up to the left (Position x 80/Position y 105), duplicate layer, Effects - Image Effects - Offset 22/0, repeat it as long as the Width of the rectangle is filled with the squares, merge all the squares, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000

6. Custom selection, Top 130/Left 106/Bottom 420/Right 593, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper19.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, selection invert, selection, modify, contract 30px, press delete, select none, select all, selection float, selection defloat, selection, modify, contract 10px, Effects - 3D Effects - Inner Bevel, selection invert, same Inner Bevel, select none, image, free rotate 10 degrees left, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #0000007. With magic wand tool click into the frame, selection, modify, expand 10px, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Paper20.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, arrange layer beneath frame layer

8. Highlight top layer, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Frame1.png, resize 400px, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, move it to the left side of the frame, with your freehand selection tool draw a selection as you can see on my preview, press delete, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow9. Open CIZ-AddictedToRac-GiftBox2.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, move down to the left, add Dropshadow, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Ipod2.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 20 degrees right, move it down, place it on the right side of the box, add Dropshadow, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Hippo2.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down, place it on the right side of the Ipod, add Dropshadow, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Shoe3.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move it down to the left

10. Open CIZ-AddictedToRac-FlowerArrangement1.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, image flip, free rotate 15 degrees right, place it on the upper right corner of the frame, add Dropshadow

11. Highlight frame layer, open CIZ-AddictedToRac-Wrap2.png, resize 65%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, move it down, place it as you can see on my image, add Dropshadow

Now open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, add Dropshadow and place as you wish, now you can write down your name and/or text, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg!

Tutorial "Rac Dangerous"

You need: Stina's adorable part of the fantastic "Addicted To Rac" Collab only available at Just4Taggers, a lovely tube by Ismael Rac which you can purchase at ArtisticMindsInc and template #344 by Missy, Effects - Penta.com and Mura's Meister

1. Open template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy of the template, close original, delete layers by missy, thin rectangle, dotted line, sweet tooth cutie, glittered sweet tooth and hearts, if you want make background visible

2. Highlight square1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open DBS_Paper08.jpg, set it to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 50), flood fill selection with pattern, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/4 #000000

3. Highlight rectangle left, merge down (with rectangle right), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill selection with same pattern, select none, add Dropshadow

4. Highlight square2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #14749c, select none, Effects - Penta.com - Jeans - Amount 10/Border Width 4, add Dropshadow

5. Highlight glittered rectangle left, merge down (with glittered rectangle right), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #000000, adjust - add noise - Uniform and Monochrome checked, Noise 100, repeat with 50, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight glittered centre frame, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #000000, add noise with same settings, select none, add Dropshadow

6. Highlight glittered circle right, arrange - move down, merge down (with glittered circle left), highlight circle right, merge down (with circle left), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open DBS_Paper22.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 25), flood fill selection with pattern, select none, add Dropshadow

7. Highlight centre frame, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #bad1d6, adjust - add noise 50, select none, highlight small glittered circle right, merge down (with small glittered circle left), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #bad1d6, adjust - add noise 50, select none, add Dropshadow

8. Highlight small circle right, merge down (with small circle left), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #14749c, Effects - Penta.com - 10/4, select none, add Dropshadow

9. Highlight centre circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #14749c, Effects - Penta.com - 10/4, don't deselect, open DBS_Wire07.png, resize 65%, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow to wire

10. Highlight rectangle layer, open DBS_EyeletRibbon04.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow

11. Highlight top layer, open DBS_Frame04.png, resize 70%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, with magic wand tool click into the frames, selection, modify, expand 7px, add new rasterlayer, arrange - move down, flood fill with #bad1d6, Effects - Penta.com 10/4, select none, highlight frame again and with magic wand tool do only select the frame on the left side, selection, modify, expand 7px, open your tube, resize if needed, copy and paste as new layer, paste into selection as you wish, selection invert, press delete, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, set the opacity to 50, arrange layer beneath frame

12. Highlight top layer, open DBS_DiscoBall.png, resize 25%, adjust - Hue/Saturation 0/0, draw a circle selection around it, add new rasterlayer, arrange - move down, flood fill selection with #14749c, select none, set the blend mode of the ball to hard light, merge visible, adjust - sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow

13. Open DBS_Guitar02.png, resize 60%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 15 degrees left, move it to the left, add Dropshadow, open DBS_Skull_Crossbones04.png, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 15 degrees left, sharpen, move it to the right side of the guitar, duplicate layer, image mirror, move it up to the disco ball, add Dropshadow to both

14. Open DBS_Flower02.png and DBS_Flower04.png, resize both 25%, copy and paste as new layers, place them as you can see on my preview, duplicate both flowers, image mirror, image flip, add Dropshadow to all four flowers15. Open DBS_Brad02.png, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer, Effects - Mura's Meister Copies - Encircle - Shift X 63/Shift Y 75, all other settings as they are, adjust - sharpen, draw a rectangular selection to remove all brads than the 3 on top and the 3 on the bottom, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow, arrange brads under the guitar layer

16. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/10 #000000

1. Open mask in PSP, open a new transparent canvas, flood fill with white, add new rasterlayer, select all, open SW_Rac_Paper 11.jpg, copy and paste into selection, select none, layers - new masklayer - from image, load WSL_Mask254.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, image - resize Width 90%/Height 80% (Aspect ratio and resize all not checked)

2. Add new rasterlayer, select all, open SW_Rac_Paper 12.jpg, rotate 90 degrees right, copy and paste into selection, select none, layers - new masklayer - from image, load WSL_Mask254.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, resize 75% (aspect ratio checked), move it a little up and a little to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, arrange - move down (above background), close mask now

3. Highlight top layer, open SW_Rac_Frame 1.png, resize Width 90%/Height 80% (Aspect ratio and resize all not checked), copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow 1/1/75/4 #000000, with the magic wand tool click into the frame, selection, modify, expand 10px, open SW_Rac_Paper 17.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, arrange beneath frame, selection invert, press delete, select none

4. Highlight top layer, open SW_Rac_Ribbon 1.png and SW_Rac_Ribbon 2.png, copy both and paste as new layers, free rotate both 45 degrees left, move them down, the pink ribbon is under the purple one, add Dropshadow 1/1/75/4 #000000 to both, place them as you can see on my preview, draw selection as you can see on my preview, press delete on both, select none, highlight top ribbon, merge down (with the other one), duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip
5. Open SW_Rac_Rose 2.png, resize 65%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, move it up to the right corner of the frame, duplicate layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, move it a little down, duplicate first rose layer again, move it down, arrange, send to top, add Dropshadow to all three roses, merge them, duplicate layer, image mirror, free rotate 75 degrees left, place them as you can see on my preview, draw selection, promote to layer, on original layer press delete, select none, arrange promoted layer beneath the ribbons6. Highlight top layer, open SW_Rac_Beauty 2.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move to the right, add Dropshadow, open SW_Rac_Beauty 1.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move to the right and place slightly in front of the other one, adjust - hue/saturation 185/255, add Dropshadow, open SW_Rac_Beauty 7.png, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right corner of the frame, place it in front of the bottles, open SW_Rac_Word Art 1.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer and place it on the SW_Rac_Beauty 7.png, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/4 #000000

7. Open SW_Rac_Corset 2.png, resize 55%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 15 degrees left, move it down, place it next to SW_Rac_Beauty 7.png, add Dropshadow 1/1/75/4 #000000

8. Open SW_Rac_Bow 2.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, move up to the left corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, open SW_Rac_Bow 1.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, move up to the left corner of the frame, place above the other bow, add Dropshadow, highlight the pink bow, open SW_Rac_Key Chain 2.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, "fix" it on the knot of the bows

9. Open SW_Rac_Word Art 2.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/4 #000000, duplicate layer, free rotate 90 degrees left, move it down

10. Now open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow 1/1/75/4 #000000, you can write down your name and/or text

Tutorial "Rac Attack"

You need: Created By Jill's gorgeous part of the fantastic "Addicted To Rac" Collab only available at Just4Taggers, one or more beautiful Ismael Rac tubes, which you can purchase at ArtisticMindsInc, mask WSL_Mask81.jpg by Chelle, Template #341 by Missy and - if you want to use it - my RacAttackPlate (Action by AtomicCupcake)

1. Open mask in PSP, open a new transparent canvas 450x450px, flood fill with #59417f, layers - new masklayer - from image, load WSL_Mask81.jpg, source luminance checked, merge group, close mask now

2. Open template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy, close the original, delete layers by missy, dirty 'n' flirty, thin rectangle and dotted rectangle, make background layer visible, highlight top layer, back to your mask image, copy and paste as new layer on the template image, close mask image, move it down to the right, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, duplicate layer, image flip, move it a little down, merge down, arrange layer above background layer

3. Open ATR_beads_cbj.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move down to the right (Position x 400/Position y -30), remove the bead on top that is a little outside and the one on the very right, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/3 #000000, layer is arrange above group layer

4. Highlight glittered circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open ATR_paper09_cbj.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 25), flood fill selection with pattern, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight square 1 left, merge down (with square1 right), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with pattern, selection, modify, contract 13px, press delete, select none, layers - arrange - move up, move up, add Dropshadow

5. Highlight circle1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open ATR_paper02_cbj.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 25), flood fill selection with pattern, select none, add Dropshadow

6. Highlight circle2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open ATR_paper06_cbj.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow

7. Highlight square, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #59417f, select none, Effects - Xero - Fritillary - Variation 10, add Dropshadow, highlight square 2 right, merge down (with square 2 left), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with #59417f, Xero - Fritillary same setting, don't deselect, open two of your tubes, copy and paste as new layers, paste into selection (left/right), selection invert, press delete, select none, merge tube layers, duplicate layer, set blend mode of the original to Luminance (L), on the duplicated one adjust - Gaussian Blur 3, blend mode to screen, Xero - Porcelain on both

8. Highlight small circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open ATR_paper05_cbj.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, select invert, press delete, selection invert, selection, modify, contract 6px, open ATR_paper11_cbj.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow to both circle layers

9. Highlight glittered rectangle, select all, selection float, select defloat, delete layer, open ATR_paper03_cbj.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight frame 1 right, merge down (with frame 1 left), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, paste ATR_paper03_cbj.jpg as new layer again, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow

10. Highlight rectangle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, copy ATR_paper05_cbj.jpg, paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, selection invert, selection, modify, contract 5px, copy ATR_paper11_cbj.jpg, paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow to both rectangle layers

11. Highlight dotted line2, merge down (with dotted line1), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, flood fill with the yellow pattern, select none, add Dropshadow

12. Highlight purple rectangle layer, open ATR_ribbon1_cbj.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, move down to the left, add Dropshadow, paste original ribbon as new layer again, image flip, move up to the right, add Dropshadow, merge down with the other ribbon, highlight purple rectangle, with the magic wand tool click outside, selection invert, selection, modify, contract 3px, highlight ribbon layer, press delete, select none

13. Purple rectangle is still highlighted, open ATR_musicnotes_cbj.png, resize 50%, adjust - Brightness/Contrast 200/0, adjust - Hue/Saturation 32/250, copy and paste as new layer, on the rectangle move down to the right, add Dropshadow, duplicate layer, on the rectangle move up to the left

14. Highlight top layer, open ATR_flower2_cbj.png, resize 37%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, open ATR_flower3_cbj.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, open ATR_bow2_cbj.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, place it on the dark dot of the flower, add Dropshadow, merge both flower and the bow layer, move it up to the right, duplicate layer, move this one down to the left

15. Open ATR_framewrap1_cbj.png, resize 45%, copy and paste as new layer, move it on the bottom of the left rectangle frame, take your pick tool, move it to the left to narrow the width of the wrap, duplicate layer, image mirror, move a little more to the right, merge down, adjust - Brightness/Contrast 50/0, adjust - Hue/Saturation 185/82, add Dropshadow

16. If you want open racattack_plate.png now, copy and paste as new layer, place as you wish, add Dropshadow, open your main tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow

Now you can write down your name and/or text! Please don't forget to add copyright information! Save your tag as .png or .jpg! Please have fun!
