This tutorial was written by me on 6th October 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!
You need: "Mired" Scrapkit (Tagger) by Created By Jill, which you can purchase at Created By Jill Scraps and an adorable tube - a sitting one works best, I used the beautiful artwork of Jasmine Becket-Griffith which you can purchase at CILM
1. Open a new transparent canvas 700x550px, flood fill with white, open M_frame03_cbj.png, resize 525px, copy and paste as new layer, with your magic wand tool click into it, selection, modify, expand 5px, highlight background layer, open M_paper04_cbj.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, open M_glitteryelement_cbj.png, copy and paste as new layer, move it a little down, press delete, select none, highlight frame, add Dropshadow 2/2/30/5 #000000, highlight glitteryelement, adjust, Hue/Saturation, Colorize 136/62
2. Copy original glitteryelement, paste as new layer, resize 75% (resize all layers not checked), free rotate 90 degrees left, move it to the left, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, arrange this layer above background layer, open M_glitter_cbj.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 45 degrees left, move it up, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down
3. Open M_rustedwire_cbj.png, resize 200px, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left corner of the frame, arrange layer below the paper layer, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, duplicate layer, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow 2/2/30/5 #000000
4. Open M_bricks_cbj.png, resize 200px, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right corner of the frame (look at preview), duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, duplicate layer, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow
5. Highlight top layer, open M_hookribbon_cbj.png, image rotate 90 degrees left, with freehand selection tool select the tag (all parts) carefully, press delete, select none, image resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up into the left corner of the frame, add Dropshadow, open M_clock_cbj.png, resize 35%, sharpen, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the right corner of the frame, add Dropshadow
6. Open M_cattails_cbj.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, adjust, Hue/Saturation, Colorize 136/62, move it to the right and a little down, add Dropshadow, remove this little part which is on and outside the frame7. Make the clock invisible for one moment, open M_flowers_cbj.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, move it to the right corner of the frame, remove all 5 flowers inside the frame, select none, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, merge down, add Dropshadow, with your rectangle selection tool select the flower in the corner up right and the flower in the corner down left, promote to layer, on original flower layer press delete, select none, arrange the promoted layer flowers under the paper layer beneath the frame, make the clock visible again
8. Highlight top layer, open M_walkway_cbj.png, resize 75%, copy and paste as new layer, move down and a little to the left, add Dropshadow
9. Open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, place as you wish, you can leave it as it is or you can colorize - highlight tube, select all, selection float, selection defloat, selection, modify, expand 1px, open M_paper07_cbj.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, arrange, move down (under the tube), highlight tube, set blend mode of your tube to Luminance, merge down, add Dropshadow
10. Open M_frog_cbj.png, resize 20%, copy and paste as new layer, adjust, Hue/Saturation, Colorize 136/62, move it down and place it as you wish, add Dropshadow
Now you can write down your name and/or text, add copyright information, switch off the white background if you like and save your tag as .png or .jpg! Hope you enjoyed my tutorial and this wonderful kit!
