This tutorial was written by me on 1st October 2010. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!
You need: "Halloween Candy" Scrapkit by Creative Intentionz which you can purchase at ScrappinWarehouse, an lovely tube, I am using the adorable artwork of Amber Kelso which I purchased at CILM (unfortunately she is leaving CILM but you can visit her here) and my template #27 here
1. Open template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy, close original, highlight DottedLine, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open ciz_halloweencandy_paper10.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/30/2 #000000, highlight Copy of DottedLine, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, paste paper as new layer again, selection invert, press delete, select none, add same Dropshadow
2. Highlight Rectangle1, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open ciz_halloweencandy_paper8.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 50), fill selection, select none, add Dropshadow
3. Highlight Rectangle2, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open ciz_halloweencandy_paper11.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 30), fill selection, select none, add Dropshadow
4. Highlight Elipse, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open ciz_halloweencandy_paper2.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 30), fill selection, select none, add Dropshadow
5. Highlight CircleFrame, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open ciz_halloweencandy_paper10.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight layer Spooktacular, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, paste paper10 as new layer again, selection invert, press delete, select none, highlight Circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, open ciz_halloweencandy_paper12.jpg, copy and paste as new layer, selection invert, press delete, select none
6. Highlight top layer, open ciz_halloweencandy_jackolanternstring.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, move it to the left and a little up, place it on the left upper corner of the black rectangle, duplicate layer and move it to the right upper corner of the black rectangle, merge down, add Dropshadow, with your selection tool draw a selection as you can see on my preview
promote to layer, on original layer press delete, select none, arrange promoted layer under the circle layer
7. Highlight circle frame layer, open ciz_halloweencandy_spiderweb1.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, add Dropshadow, highlight top layer now, open ciz_halloweencandy_cane3.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 30 degrees right, move it down to the right, duplicate layer, image mirror, merge down, add Dropshadow
8. Open ciz_halloweencandy_couldron.png, resize 35%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right, place it in front of the candy cane, add Dropshadow, open ciz_halloweencandy_bear1.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right, place it on top of the couldron, add Dropshadow
9. Open ciz_halloweencandy_bonbon3.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees left, move it down to the right, place it in front of the couldron, add Dropshadow, open ciz_halloweencandy_bonbon2.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, move it down to the right, place it in front of the couldron, next to the other bonbon, add Dropshadow
10. Open your tube now, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow, open ciz_halloweencandy_spider.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the right, add Dropshadow
Now you can add text and/or name, please add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg! Hope you had fun!
