Tutorial "Emo Passion"

This tutorial was written by me on 23rd March 2011. It was done with PSP9 but it might work with other versions, too. This tutorial is copyrighted to me, any resemblance is purely coincidental and not intentional!

You need: "Emo Passion" Tagger Size kit by SkyScrapsDesigns which you can purchase at ScrapsAndTheCity, a real cool Emo tube, I am using a tube by Celine Bonnet which matches perfectly with this kit, template #392 by DivineIntentionz, Fonts Velvenda Cooler and Pixelmix, Effects, Penta.Com Jeans, dsb flux Bright Noise and Mura's Meister Copies

1. Open template in PSP, with Shift D make a copy, close the original, delete layers by missy, drop shadow, rect drop shadow, wordart and wordart back, image - canvas size Width 700px, Height 600px, Placement Center, highlight layer shape4, arrange layer, move down, merge down (with shape3), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open SkyScraps-pp7.jpg, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 50), fill selection with pattern, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000

2. Highlight thin rect, merge down (with thin rect), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #292929, select none, Effects - Penta.Com, Jeans - Amount 20/Border Width 3 (always the same settings), add Dropshadow, highlight shape2, merge down (with shape1), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, open SkyScraps-pp10.png, set to pattern (Angle 0/Scale 35), fill selection with pattern, select none, add Dropshadow

3. Highlight dotted line2, merge down (with dotted line), select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill selection with #40fcf5 (click fill 3 times), select none, add Dropshadow

4. Highlight circle back, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #ed087d, Effects, dsb flux, Bright Noise - Intensity 50/Mix checked, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight circle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #292929, Effects -Penta.Com Jeans, don't deselect, open SkyScraps-M3.png, resize 95%, copy and paste as new layer, move and place as you like, selection invert, press delete, select none, open SkyScraps-E24.png, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 10 degrees right, move it to the left, onto the circle

5. Highlight square back, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #40fcf5, Effects, dsb flux, Bright Noise, select none, add Dropshadow, highlight square, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #ed087d, add new rasterlayer, open SkyScraps-pp13.png, resize 50% (resize all layers not checked), free rotate 10 degrees left, copy and paste into selection, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/1 #000000

6. Highlight rect back, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #ed087d, Effects, dsb flux, Bright Noise, select none, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000, highlight rectangle, select all, selection float, selection defloat, delete layer, add new rasterlayer, fill with #8cfdf9, don't deselect, selection, modify, expand 1px, open SkyScraps-M1.png, copy and paste as new layer, place as you wish, selection invert, press delete, select none

7. Highlight top layer, open font Velvenda Cooler, Foreground off, Background #292929, Size 36, write Emo Passion or whatever you want to, convert to rasterlayer, Effects - Penta.Com Jeans, select all, selection float, selection defloat, selection, modify, expand 2px, add new rasterlayer, arrange layer, move down, fill with #ed087d, select none, highlight original text layer, merge down, move it into the upper left corner of the rectangle, add Dropshadow, duplicate layer, move it into the lower right corner of the rectangle

8. Open font Pixelmix, set foreground to #ed087d, background to #40fcf5, then foreground off, background Gradient Foreground/Background, Style Linear, Angle 45, Repeat 2, Font Size 5, write Emo Passion or whatever you want to, convert to rasterlayer, duplicate layer, merge down, Effects, Mura's Meister Copies - Tiling/Tile Gap 1, draw a rectangular selection around 5 lines to the bottom and 4 lines to the right, selection, invert, press delete, select none, place it under the upper Emo Passion text, duplicate layer, place it above the lower Emo Passion text, merge the Pixel font text, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/3 #0000009. Highlight top layer, open SkyScraps-E52.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, free rotate 30 degrees left, sharpen, move it up and a little to the left, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000, open SkyScraps-E51.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 30 degrees right, sharpen, move it down and a little to the right, add Dropshadow

10. Open SkyScraps-E36.png, resize 40%, copy and paste as new layer, move it up to the left, add Dropshadow, open SkyScraps-E33.png, resize 25%, copy and paste as new layer, move it down to the left, add Dropshadow, open SkyScraps-E1.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, image mirror, move it down to the right, add Dropshadow

11. Open SkyScraps-E28.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 20 degrees right, move it up to the right, add Dropshadow 1/1/15/5 #000000, arrange this layer under the pink glitter rectangle layer, open SkyScraps-E29.png, resize 50%, copy and paste as new layer, free rotate 40 degrees left, move it a little up and a little to the right, add Dropshadow

12. Highlight top layer, open SkyScraps-E19.png, resize 30%, copy and paste as new layer, place it onto the lower left corner of the rectangle, duplicate layer, image mirror, image flip, move it onto the upper right corner of the rectangle, add Dropshadow 1/1/35/5 #000000 to both

Now open your tube, copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed, place as you wish, add Dropshadow, if you want you can write down your name, add copyright information and save your tag as .png or .jpg!
